Connect your WhatsApp number

After you choose a plan, you'll see Connect Your WhatsApp Business with three options. Pick the one that matches your number.

Option 1 — New Number (recommended)

Use this for a number that is not on WhatsApp yet.

1. Click Connect New Number. A Meta window opens.
2. Log in with Facebook and choose (or create) your business portfolio.
3. Create or pick a WhatsApp Business account, then enter your display name, category and website.
4. Enter the phone number and verify it with the code Meta sends by SMS or voice call.
5. Approve the permissions. The window closes and you'll see WhatsApp Connected!

Option 2 — Keep Existing Number (WhatsApp Business app)

Use this if the number is on the WhatsApp Business app and you want to keep using the app on your phone.

1. Click Connect Existing Number and log in with Facebook in the Meta window.
2. When asked, enter the number. WhatsApp shows a QR code.
3. On your phone, open the WhatsApp Business app and scan the code when it prompts you.
4. Choose whether to share your chat history, and finish.

Your app keeps working. Messages you send from the app also appear in your Adwix inbox, so your team sees the whole conversation.

Option 3 — Existing WhatsApp API Number

Use this if the number already runs on the WhatsApp API with another provider (WATI, Interakt, AiSensy and others).

1. Click Connect Existing API Number and log in with Facebook.
2. Pick the business portfolio and the number. Meta recognises the existing API account — no new SIM and no re-verification PIN.
3. Your display name and quality rating stay as they are.

After connecting

• Verify your business in business.facebook.com → Settings → Security Center, with a GST, Udyam or Shop & Establishment document. See Before you start.
• Add a payment method in business.facebook.com → Settings → Billing & payments, so Meta can deliver your campaigns.

Finish setup

If you came here as a new user, enter your name, email and password on the success screen and click Create Account & Go to Inbox. You're in.

Something went wrong?

• The Meta window closed without finishing — click the same option again; nothing was saved halfway.
• "Number already registered" — the number is still on WhatsApp. Use Option 2 if it's the Business app, or delete the WhatsApp account on it first.
