Import your contacts from a CSV file
Bring your customer list into Adwix Connect from Excel or Google Sheets in a couple of minutes — and keep it clean so your number stays healthy.
Prepare the file
Your file needs one column of phone numbers. Name and tag columns are optional.
| name | phone | tag |
|---|---|---|
| Priya Sharma | 919876543210 | VIP |
| Arjun Mehta | 918765432109 | Diwali 2026 |
- Include the country code —
91for India — with no+, spaces or leading0. - In Excel or Google Sheets choose File → Save as / Download → CSV.
Import it
- Go to Contacts and click ⬆ Import CSV.
- Choose your file. You'll see the first three rows and how many rows were found.
- Under Column Mapping, check that Phone points at your phone column (Adwix detects common headings like phone, mobile or whatsapp automatically). Set Name and Tag if you have them.
- Click Import Contacts.
Contacts that already exist are updated, not duplicated, and rows without a valid number are skipped.
Organise afterwards
- Use the Filters to find contacts by tag, lead stage, source, status, agent or date.
- Select several and use the bulk bar to Tag, set a Stage, Assign or Export them.
- People who reply STOP move to Opt-outs automatically and won't receive campaigns.
